IBRAD has grown as a professional learning institute over the years where co-ordination of “theory and practice” is used for development programmes right from concept to commissioning in the field of Natural Resource Management, Sustainable Development, Participatory Forest Management, Micro Water Management and Health System Development. Its activities are spread right from the grassroots community organizations to the district-level sensitisation to State and the National level policy support. The learning of IBRAD is also shared through its network of NGOs and academic organizations both in India and abroad.

Such changes are documented and the case studies along with its method of intervention are used in the training programme to sensitise the Government officials at different level. IBRAD also organizes training programme for bringing changes in the Government departments and people’s representatives in the form of Participatory Organisational Development.
The academic programmes of IBRAD School are designed based on the 20 years of experience of IBRAD working with different government departments and communities covering different geographical area across the country as well as abroad.
