1. 24th Foundation Day-
IBRAD’s 24th Foundation Day was celebrated on 7th May, 2008 at IBRAD School of Management & Sustainable Development Campus, which was attended by several dignitaries. It started with a lecture on “Technical Education for Sustainable Development on Changing Scenario by Prof. Ashok Ranjan Thakur, Vice Chancellor, WBUT. It was followed by cultural programme by Staff and BCA students.

2. MBA Programme-
MAT qualified candidates with valid MAT Score card appeared in GD and PI conducted by the institute itself on different date in the month of May and June, 2008. The admission committee consisted of the Honorable Chairman, Principal and the respective faculty members. JEMAT qualified candidates were directly admitted.
Induction and orientation and pre-session classes started on 15th July, 2008.
Morning Assembly - Every day a morning assembly session is held at 9:45 am with all the students and faculty members. It starts with “Bande Mataram” for concentration of mind and soul. It is followed by a short discussion on management philosophy. Then the students are encouraged to express their views and share problems if any. |

3. Faculty Development Programme-
It was held on 13th July, 2008. All faculty members were addressed by Honorable Chairman and Principal. |

4. Seminar on: Corporate Social Responsibility for Sustainable Development-
A seminar on Corporate Social Responsibility was organized on 10th June, 2008. The corporate representatives from TCS, PTI, Indian Oil Co., Capgemini, AajKal, First Source Solution, Khadim, Indian Airlines and Bharat Petroleum participated in the deliberations and appreciated in joining hands for continuation towards development of civil society specially under privileged section. It was a feeling that educational institute and corporate houses must have common platform to contribute towards Sustainable Development. |
