The diversity of the faculty background, knowledge and experience represents a significant challenge for the introductory course.

The good news is that this diversity can actually create a wonderful learning environment, where the more knowledgeable faculty help the students, and can actually improve their own understanding in the process. By the end of the course, we believe all students will have benefited. Learn net things and understood the logic behind some familiar concepts or practices, and the “novices” will get a good grounding in the basics, and along the way discover that finance is actually not as difficult not as difficult or mysterious as they perhaps first expected.

	Professor. S.B. Roy, M.Sc, Ph.d. Honorary Chairman Developed concept and methodology on Bilateral Matching Institutions, Participatory Irrigation Management (PIM) and Micro Water Management, Participatory Microplanning, Institutionalisation of JFM. Designed and Conducted Training on PIM, Micro Water Management, JFM, Participatory Development, Management of Change, Organisational Behaviour for Government officials, Panchayat members, farmers. Conducted training for senior government officials, university students in Indonesia, China, U.K, Netherlands, Germany, Finland etc. Facilitated the process of Management of Change through training.
	Ms. Raktima Mukherjee, M.Sc. Programme Director She has completed her masters in Geography. In IBRAD she is responsible for directing and monitoring of all the programmes. She also conducts several training for the senior level officials of the forest department at the National and International level. She has also conducted training on participatory irrigation management, micro water management, quality improvement of health and municipal services, microplanning, gender issues for government officials, panchayat members, etc. She has been engaged in number of action research projects. She has been consultant to different funding agencies and government departments. At present she is pursuing her Doctoral degree from University of Calcutta.
	Dr. Damayanti Mukhopadhyay, M.A, Ph.d Adjunct Faculty   After completing masters in sociology she has already acquired her doctoral degree from Indian Institute of technology at Kharagpur. She has contributed her credentials as a sociologist in the numerous training programmes of IBRAD. Simultaneously she also acted as a consultant in the different projects funded by DFID for participatory organization development. On the issues such as strengthening institution for community based organization, functioning of the various forest protection committees, role of panchayat, gender issue. She has also conducted many action researches on different fields of sustainable livelihood. She also acted as one of the faculty for training for senior government officers, academics at Indonesia and Nepal on people participation and community forestry.
	Dr. P.K.Roy Barman, M.Sc. (Ag) in Soil Science, CAIIB, MBA (CU) with specialization in Financial Management, Ph.D in Management Professor & Principal He has 34.5 years experience in banking industry and financial management, project analysis, project evaluation etc. He has 7 years experience in teaching in financial institutions and B-schools and management of staff training college of Bank. He has written a book on “Basic Concept of Balance Sheet and Worker’s Capital. He has good number of writings / publications on agriculture, management and microeconomics etc. to his credit.
	Jayita Mitra, B.Tech (IT), M.Tech (pursuing) Lecturer & Project Associate, Computer Science & IT Academically she has done her B. Tech. (IT), from West Bengal University of Technology. She is now pursuing M-Tech in Computer Science & Technology from Jadavpur University. She is working in IBRAD School of Management and Sustainable Development as Lecturer & Project Associate since July, 2007. She is responsible for academic programmes (BCA, BBA (H) & MBA) and to develop software as per the need of the projects which are running in IBRAD.
	Siddhartha Ranjan Basak, PGDBA (MBA – IR & HRM), MHRM, PG (Marketing Mgmt), MPhil (Mgmt) Senior Lecturer, Human Resource Management He was associated with various industries in different capacities like Manager – Personnel & HRM, etc. He has more than 10 years experience in industry and teaching profession. He has contributed his credential as a core faculty member in various reputed management institutions like Management Institute of Durgapur, Dinabandhu Andrews Institute of Technology & Management, Institute of Business Management & Research. Also he was associated with Nopany Institute of Management Studies and International Institute of Management and Science as visiting faculty member. Presently he is responsible for Project Assignment, HR Practices and Institutional Examination procedure along with his academic programme at IBRAD School of Management and Sustainable Development.
	Mrs Linika Mookherjee, B.E  (Computer) Lecturer, Computer Science She is a Chartered Engineer from Institution of Engineers, Kolkata. She has industrial experience in companies like Siemens, Crompton Greaves and later joined Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and was also associated with Gujarat University and IGNOU in various capacities. She is associated with IBRAD school of Management and Sustainable Development since July, 2007 and responsible for academic programme.
	Soumasree Tewari, M.A (Economics), MPhil (Economics) Junior Lecturer, Economics She is pursuing Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Finance). She has experience of teaching in a college under Calcutta University for one and half years. Presently she is responsible for teaching and handling project work.
	Shakuntala Mukherjee, M.A (English), M.Phil (English) Lecturer, English Language and Business Communication She has conducted training programmes on Soft Skill Development, Communicative English in different institutes. She has contributed her credential as a faculty member in Techno India as Business Communication Lecturer. Presently she is responsible for teaching and handling project work.
	Dr. Visvarup Chakravarti, MSc (Agriculture), PhD, Post. Doc. Programme Coordinator cum Faculty Started professional Career as Science Teacher in Kathmandu, Nepal. Later involved in NTFP research and documentation. Edited MFP News and one International Journal. Experienced in community capacity building, development of CBOs, generating alternate livelihood options, conservation and cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants and related research. Experienced trainer of Natural resource management related issues including watershed & wastelands development, water management, improved irrigation technologies, CPR management and ex situ & in situ conservation. In his credit he has 1 Bengali Book, 5 edited monographs, 29 general articles and 14 research papers in different national and international journals.
	Dr. Basistha Chatterjee, Ph. D in Agriculture, M.Sc. (Agriculture) Lecturer of Rural Development in PGDRM and Economics in MBA & researcher in JFM project. He has conducted research on Unconventional Crops like motra, water-chestnut, medical plants under projects sponsored by Indian Council of Agriculture Research. He worked under two internationally famous NGO’s as Senior Research Associate – AgriBusiness and Extension. Worked under State Medical Plants Board of Orissa and West Bengal in preparing database and action plan. Worked as consultant agriculturist for Mushroom farm, horticulture farm and plant protection measures such as organic farming.
	Amitava Ukil, MBA (Finance), M.Com, ICWA (Inter.) Assistant Lecturer cum Accounts Officer He has 12 years Industrial experience in the areas of Accounts and Finance and 2 years Teaching Experience in NSHM, Durgapur and other institutes. Presently he is responsible for academic and project work.
	Rajdeep Mukherjee, BA (Pol. Sc.), MBA (HR), Dip. (Hotel Mgmt, Labour Welfare & Human Resource Development), MPHIL (Pursuing) Senior Lecturer cum Administrator He has 14 years experience in Industry and education in total, which includes 4 years of teaching experience in Genex Management College as Sr. Lecturer and NIMAS School of Management as faculty. His special interests are teaching and administration. He likes to mingle with people and hear music. He is taking classes and looking administration of IBRAD.
	Amal Goswami, M.A. Economics, Research Scholar, WBUT Lecturer in Business Economics He has 5 years Research Experience and 2 years teaching experience in Management (Business Economics, Statistics, and Research Methodology) under WBUT. He is responsible to assist in project and teaching in management programmmes.
	Suman Bhattacharya, B,Tech (IT) Guest Faculty Academically he has done his B. Tech (IT), from West Bengal University of Technology, and pursuing M. Tech from University of Calcutta.
